The 91ÁÔÆæ Computer Science Division will celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month with expert-led lectures, hands-on events and creative challenges to build awareness about protecting information in the digital world.
91ÁÔÆæ to host Robotics Invitational Nov. 11

The College of Arts and Sciences and the Computer Science Division will host the first 91ÁÔÆæ Pioneer Robotics Invitational on Nov. 11. Teams of 2-3 students will design, build and drive robots, and winning teams will win a $1,500 team scholarship.

A contingent of 25 91ÁÔÆæ students will make presentations at the 2025 National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Pittsburgh, April 7-9.
Celebration of Science returns Oct. 17-18

Former 91ÁÔÆæ math, computer science chair Rose Marie Smith had high impact

Rose Marie O'Brien Smith, Texas Woman’s University alumna, former chair of 91ÁÔÆæ’s Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science, professor emerita and for whom a scholarship for student teachers was named, passed away on Sept. 15, 2023.
