2020 Edible Car Contest winners announced

Texas Womanβs University hosted its 22nd annual Edible Car Contest Friday, Feb 21. The contest challenged Dallas-Fort Worth area grade school students to combine their creative ideas with principles of mathematics and physics.

Angie Thomas, New York Times bestselling author of βThe Hate U Give,β and Rose Brock, Ph.D., editor of βHope Nation: YA Authors Share Personal Moments of Inspiration,β will speak at Texas Womanβs Universityβs fifth annual Jamison Lecture, beginning at 7 p.m., March 5. The lecture, titled βThe Power of Books: Inspiring Hope and Fighting for Social Justice,β will take place in the new Hubbard Hall Student Union auditorium on 91ΑΤΖζβs Denton campus.
