Research conducted by Catalina Pislariu, PhD, of the 91ÁÔÆæ Biology Department into rehabilitating farmland by planting crops that not only grow in depleted soil but also contribute to the regeneration of that exhausted earth has earned a $1 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
