91ÁÔÆæ's Bring Back the Monarchs program earns grant
March 7, 2025 — DENTON — The Native Plant Society of Texas has awarded a $600 grant to 91ÁÔÆæ for its Bring Back the Monarchs to Texas garden proposal.
91ÁÔÆæ was one of 64 programs to receive grants out of 213 applicants.
NPSOT lauded 91ÁÔÆæ for its strong evidence of gardening knowledge and skills, good planning, a strong mix of nectar plants for the region, an appropriate selection of native milkweeds for the region, overall design and layout, maintenance plans, public accessibility, overall usefulness to Monarchs, plans for outreach, and scientific and education use.
91ÁÔÆæ plans to use the grant to increase milkweed and nectar plants in the large garden of the Dr. Bettye Myers Butterfly Garden.
